probably the worse dream i've ever had ...in my entire life .. i dream of the last week of my life, i had liver cancer... i was so skinny that i couldnt recognize myself from the mirror...i tried to eat but eating has no effect on my hunger and i was always hungry...nothing can fill my stomach..
finally i died ..my mom had to choose what item to be placed with me ...i sat beside her..and thought nothing in the world can represent me and is worth putting in my coffin..she cried....
the dream ended ..hopefully...
i had dreams about my death many times before..but this time i couldnt break the dream and "do what ever i want" i wanted to see the ending of my self ....who would turn up on my funeral ..what will my friends talk about me ..and after this 20 so years...i have achieved nothing but a waste of resources.....
a very depressing dream before an exam right ....lol maybe i should close the curtains tonight...
great movie in a sense that not every audience will enjoy. i've always been a big fan of post apocalyptic movies, but few have done what this movie has. the closest movie i've seen to this is MAD MAX 2, which was an action based movie, but this movie focuses on the scavenging, surviving and the father's love for this son. the entire movie has a constant gray and depressing theme, from the sunless existent to the ash covered lands, all makes the dying earth believable.
what i like about this movie is how it instead of showing you the gory, horror scenes, it lets your imagination fill in the gaps, there is a part were the father and son are outside a cannibal gang's base, (where they lock waselanders in a basement for meat supply.) instead of showing how they butcher the people, only blunt axe and screams were heard...
A "message" in the film was carrying the "fire" which was a very interesting theme, the father always tells the son that their the "good guys" what it means to be a civilized human, above basic survival instinct. which was done very well. Aaron as the "father" really pays off and did a oscar worthy performance in this film. which in such an environment is almost impossible to maintain. the film also does a good job in tearing down the humanity and society to the bare bones, A present day example will be Hadi
the only thing i didn't like was the ending which was a little bit too cliche and unexplained. it would be alot more dramatic if the screen went black and a single gun shot was heard.
overall, a very depressing film, i'm going to have to buy this book aswell..
THANK YOU naughty dog for making this amazing game ! I stayed up playing this game till 4 a.m and i'm still playing it now!
i spend around 13,14 hours and the pace is GREAT, you just have to play the next chapter and wont feel the need to stop. The graphics are top notch, and i dont think any game has a better graphic than this in the next gen history, you can literaly see every wrinkles on the character's face! even the tiny skin texture on a guy, you'll spot it. Every facial moment a normal person has during a real situation, the character delivers, even the lip syncs are done incredibly well, the voice actors did a phenomenal job in bring the characters to life. Nathan Drake feels SOOOOO REAL that by the time you finished the game, you will think that this guy actually exist, this time you will dive deeper into the character and see how a treasure hunter change to saves the day.
the action is INTENSE ! and i mean it, i actually had to stand up and play a few levels of the game. it also blurs the line between cinematic and gameplay and it's done so well you wont feel sluggish.
there's too much good stuff about this game, that i'm discovering new things everytime i play.
if you have a ps3, you MUST HAVE this game.
ps. the multiplayer is good but there's too many foreign language speaking jerk weed playing....some asshole (i'm thinking indians or middle eastern guy )decided to play his music on the bluetooth headset ....WTF. i got the game like 2 days and still there are tons of noobs on the game, i got kicked out of a room because i killed them every round ....lol
